Dengie has launched a new low calorie fibre feed that is suitable for good doers with or prone to gastric ulcers, the product is called Ulser Lite,
Dengie Ulser Lite is a blend of soft straw and grass with a light oil coating, no molasses and added grass and alfalfa pellets. It is a low calorie feed (8mj/kg) and has added protexin (prebiotic, yeast , antacids). It is aimed at the good doer with ulcers -a market that is appearing to get bigger and as of yet there is no low calorie fibre aimed for this issue.
